Integrates W3Counter free web stats service into your WordPress blog.
This plugin adds a Blog Stats Dashboard to your admin area with real-time usage statistics for your blog adds a sidebar widget for integrating the tracking code into the blog’s theme. These include the number of visitors and page views you’ve received over the past 7 days and all time, top viewed posts, top referrers, top searches and top visitor locations. It also adds a sidebar widget for integrating W3Counter’s tracking code into your theme.
Requires a free web stats account from W3Counter.
To use this plugin, you should be running the latest version of WordPress, version 2.5. If you are not, please upgrade WordPress first.
To install, download the zip file, and upload w3counter.php to your wp-content/plugins directory. Log in to your WordPress admin area and activate the plugin from the plugins page.
To enable the blog stats on your dashboard, navigate to your admin dashboard and click the edit link of the Blog Stats box. Enter your website ID (and password if you’ve disabled public stats).
To use the plugin for adding the tracking code to your blog, navigate to the widgets page of your admin area (under the Manage tab in WP 2.5) and add the WordPress Tracker widget to your sidebar. Edit the widget options to enter your website ID and save.
